Born and raised in San Diego, Matt “Axe” Axelson always felt a pull toward America’s Finest City, even as he moved across the Southwest to Los Angeles and later to Dallas at the age of 14. A lover of the ocean, basketball, golf, California burritos, and the laid-back California lifestyle, he returned home for good after marrying his wife, Kristine, in 2019. Today, the couple lives in beautiful Coronado, where they’ve embraced the vibrant coastal community and island charm.

Axe’s passion for real estate and investing first took root during his career in the entertainment industry, where he toured the globe working with music artists and DJs. Driven by a desire to see his clients succeed, he dove into digital marketing and advertising, teaching independent artists how to own and monetize their channels. To this day, he’s known as a go-to resource for friends seeking advice on the do’s and don’ts of the business.

In 2019, Axe transitioned to real estate, transforming what had been a personal passion for mid-century properties, market trends, and investment opportunities into a thriving career. Combining his marketing expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and love for helping others, Matt quickly made a name for himself in the industry.
